OCT Loft Jazz Festival: Brian Girley Movement

The Brian Girley Movement is the new project by NYC saxophonist Brian Girley. Evolving from his last CD “Faith”, the concept for the movement project was the actual word “move”. Music at its core should be moving. It should touch you mind and soul. It should also make you move. When you feel the beat it makes your body move and you feel the music in your body. This project combines soul, gospel, funk, blues and dance into a blend of energetic, creative music. For this project Brian reunites with YT little D members Yuka Tadano and Li Xiaochuan. This is the first project sense “Dancer” and their relocation to NYC. Also Brian brings along NYC pianist Julian Shore, who plays with Brian on a regular basis and can be heard on “Faith”. Every member of this group brings their own original creative force and passion to the group and the energy created one stage fills the room!

TICKET INFO:

Ticket fee: 50 RMB. Due to limited space, there are only 300 tickets for the concerts in B10, OCT LOFT, and only 100 tickets for the concerts in Old Heaven Bookstore. Ticket are available on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 19:00,
