Every Saturday our little bus takes us out of Shekou where we run green hills and valleys, farms, lychee trees, quarries and construction sites. We do get a bit of exercise in but we are mainly about one thing- having a great time. Nobody knows how to play like the Hashers.
You don't need to be a serious runner or hiker, you just need to be serious about having a good time. Our little Hash is just one of dozens in greater China and thousands around the world. Want to know more? Read our History pages including the story of how the Hash House Harriers began in Kuala Lumpur in 1937 and in Shekou in 1984.
Cost is only 60rmb for guys, 40rmb for ladies and kids Hash for free. Curious? Join us on one Saturday and give us a try, you (probably) won't be sorry you did!
The Shekou Hash meets every Saturday 1pm, rain or shine including holidays at The Snake Pit- located upstairs behind Pizza Hut, across from Sea World, Shekou, Shenzhen. Click the map below for a printable map with taxi information in Chinese. See you at The Snake Pit!
