Im sure you'll get a beat down anywhere in the world for this type of behavior.
However after reading the comment by the guy who came to the rescue.
"When the girl screamed for help the first time, I thought it was a lovers' tiff," said Wu, "but after she screamed 'I don't know this guy', I realized something was wrong," said Wu.
"After I grabbed his neck and saw he's a laowai, I felt more obligated to save the girl," Wu told the Global Times.
It really makes me wonder; if this was a chinese dude, would he have gotten the same treatment?

Hmmm, sick man, probably got less than he deserved.
The video is quite graphic, pretty foul actually.
Okay, the guy is no saint that's for certain, rape is a heinous crime and I think if anyone caught this sort of thing happen here or elsewhere, the same circumstances would most certainly unfold.
Why the fuck did they leave him lying on the road though??????

Well, regardless of what it is, (by legal definition) looks pretty sick to me!

A lot of countries now refer to rape as sexual assualt but there are different degrees. The Chinese guy should have kick him in the balls. Bleeding into the scrotum sack is a good cure for rapists.
As for the Brazilian guy who got beaten up by thieves. Theives work in gangs here and are usually armed so you help people at your own peril.

Thieves work in gangs here and some will do the stealing while others mingle in the crowd and watch their backs. If you go to help and they think you are threatening their buddies, you can get stabbed in the back.
