I have booked the air ticket on Jun 09 to New Delhi.

Maybe I should cancel the trip....what is your suggestion?

"It will be a total shutdown across the country. It will be the biggest democratic protest the country has seen in a long time," Prakash Javadekar, spokesman of the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Wednesday.

why not calling airline company? and the one that you would visit.

They just started, so I kinda like to know if anyone have been there.....and were the previous strikes usually organized or may change to be violate? Just some ideas.... I think I am still going unless the airports were closed.

Definitely cancel. Best of all - stay home, never go anywhere further than your local grocery store. It's a dangerous world out there...

How come you assume it's because I am scared? I am wondering if the traffic is on strike then will I be able to see much there?
I don't want to just stay in hotel. Your assumption of other people reflects yourself.

Don't worry , strikes are a normal part of our amazing democracy , Moreover it is just for one day ( today).

Ok, hope so. :-)

go definately. it will be quite exciting. just dont wear any makeup, make yourself ugly, you will be safe.:)

lol, how to make myself ugly?

I won't cancel a trip just because of a strike. ;-)

I don't want to cancel it either. It was such a pain to get the visa.
How come you know me already so well? lol, it could be fun....as long as I bring a helmet with me? :-P

Incredible India .. Intresting country anything can be possible there .. go for it dont loose the chance..
