Shenzhen Stuff

Need Advice.Trying to pursue a dream which i had for years.

First off all i am not a business man.I dont know the current market situation or anything related to it.All i know is i want to start a company with a minimum investment to earn money as permanent source for income to start an orphanage ,an old age home, and if possible a home for the homeless. But i have no idea what to start.Lets say i just have 235000 Rmb to start something back in India.I googled and read a few about articles about small scale industries .1st was the an umbrella factory,2nd was garment industries. What i care is there should be less or no environmental pollution at all.Any ideas rather than this two industries?

Some of my friends suggested me to start the orphanage 1st, then wait for the donations.I dont think its practical to depend on other people.

Few things i am strict about

1.I dont want to make cheap knockout stuff
2.I dont want a middle man to earn more money than we do [we can earn more money and feed more stomach with that money],but unfortunately that's what is happening all around this world.I prefer direct sales to the customers hand so its more cheaper for the customer who buys our product and we can earn a little more money than the middle man itself.[will this work???]
3.The customer should be happy with our product and he or she must get more than what she or he paid for.

4.All workers should be well fed and paid.Should provide necessary medical care.
5.The tax should be paid in time and the exact amount to the government.

ok back to our topic .How can i let our customers know what we do,how we do and why we do ?We dont have money for advertising

Also a small story of our failure back in 2004 .My grandfather started a company for making storage devices .The company was a success back in his time, but after his death the company only lost money. We were supporting 12 charity organization in India back then,Now the we just can support 1 .Because OF too many cheap products came with low quality and people went to buy the cheaper knock off.I am trying to figure out where did i loose? Was it making high quality product was our failure or the product marketing?Any way i believe i can do better next time with support of you guys .THANKS

I hate to put this bluntly without advertising - you're dead in the water for direct sales. Clients are not going to engage directly with a company that has no collateral but is claiming quality as a cornerstone of its approach.

I'd suggest you investigate crowd sourcing once you've decided on your first products. You can then pre-sell product and use it to grow your marketing budget.

Yes thanks for the advice

You could reach all of your goals by selling the babies from the orphanage. You could sell them as children for adoption, or you could sell them for parts, if you get my drift.

India is stong in IT services so why play on their strengths. One thing I've noticed is most Chinese companies have not optimized their websites for google or english based search engines. Perhaps this is a service that can be performed in India and sold to Chinese companies. Start up investment is quite low ....especially compared with manufacturing.

With only about $37000usd I don't think you will have the economies of scale to compete in manufacturing. Not to mention your 'nice guy' approach which your competitiors are not taking.

Yes i have a thought of this too,but many of the websites  builders are providing the chinese version which is SEO for google yahoo, bing and so on..

Manufacture knock-off drugs, like Kamagra.

I have read your discussion twice which gave me a huge headache. As I understand it, you inherited a successful business in India from your father then ran it into the ground.

Now, as I understand it, you want to start another business. I'm not sure if it's in China or India, and use its profits to support an orphanage. You don't know what kind of business to start or how to make or market its products.

You sir, are the very definition of a fucking idiot. You may be well intentioned, but you are a complete fool.

Why don't you deposit your 235,0000 RMB into the bank I'm starting next week.
