Noticing your Age...Getting Older
When do you feel like you are getting older ? Is it the songs you liked when you were young are now considered "oldies but goodies " to the next generation ?
Have you noticed that an actor or an actress that you have liked for a long time is getting a lot of wrinkles or gray hair ? Do you notice your age when you are with others...like at reunion of some kind ? Do you notice your age when you are looking in the mirror ? Does that scare you ?

I don't think many people on SZS reach the stage of fear of aging. We are all really very young in many aspects, at least in my circle of friends.
I haven't been to any re-union for decades, listening to the old songs only reminds me I was young and innocent once as everyone else, the feeling is rather warm than depressed.

I think there's happiness in the 3rd age too, like getting a grandchildren, I'm afraid of growing old alone in a corner, yes.

the older i get the younger i get.I feel like Im in my 20s,I still wear chuck taylors,still get tattoos,still listen to rock music and get into all the young bands.I ride my bike,go to the gym and Im 43.I dont want to get old

While my mother was alive she would read the local newspaper and let me know which of my school friends had died - I'm doing better than them.

Just having less hair, grey hair, not being able to run for an hour, sleeping each day a little less, not liking justin bieber or lady gaga..... and saying that Madonna and Ace of base much better!! (NOT) , yes I feel I am getting older... But still , it's good to say I lived the 70's 80's 90's and the 2000 and 2010's hehehehehehe. I feel like an history book now.
