We have a VISA situation
Hi all,
I am currently on a (L) visa which expires in a few weeks time, it is a 30 day L visa which has already been renewed once before (also 30 days).
Ideally I wanna get me a long term visa, 6 months -> 1 year ..perhaps an F visa?
But i dont mind staying here on a L visa, problem is that I have heard L visas can only be renewed twice.
I arrived in SZ on a 5 day pass from HK, then got the 2x 30 day L visas. So does this mean im in the shit?
Some agents have suggested paying 5k+ for a F visa, that is crazy!! It only cost me 600rmb in 2006.. and that was 6month multi entry.
Any advice, leads in the right direction much appreciated.

LOL Even if you went to the PSB they wouldn't be able to give you a clear answer man. NOBODY really knows anything about visas, not even the office that issues them! Think it comes down to luck mate.

you should be able to go to HK and get a 6 month L visa. you need an invitation letter from a company to get the F business visa though. All depends on your country of origin though

Don't worry bro, we have a good passport, according to the powers that be.
I think it would be a little more difficult if you came from a place like "Beirut" or "Iraq' (no disrespect intended there) maybe even Pakistan.
Just get that invitation letter , if you can mate!

i have run out of credit on my phone, ust in case yu tried to call bro.
ill go downstairs later on and top-up. i got examples from a HK visa office of the letters required. things looking much better than this morning.

Hey Damo, can you explain me how and where you can renew your L 30 days visa in SZ? mine ends in 9 days , but my chinese friend could get reliable informations. The only option i have is to make a new one in HK ( and spend few days ) i rather stay in SZ !

You can just renew your L Visa at the PSB in Luohu, right behind the DiWang Building.

There are a few options as already stated. I still like the forever bright trading co @ chinavisa.com.hk 2600 for a 6 month multi entry F visa all in, and you don't even need an invitation letter.
