What if you collect a fake RMB in China, what do you do?

Recently, I collected one fake RMB100, i found that it's hard to solve it in shops, restaurants even in bars. I still keep this in my pocket and find the way to solve it, any suggestions/ solutions here? And any stories/ experiences sharing from you?

You can't do anything what I know of, I think you can give it to the bank for their reference to spot and investigate where they come from and so on. But they wont replace it with a genuine one.

Real ...so...do i need to solve it in somewhere outside china??

Keep trying to spend it. Eventually you might get lucky. You'll probably have more sucess with a non-Chinese cashier.

Good strategy.

I have had that problem with 20s.   Run it through the wash and wrinkle it as much as possible.   That was the only thing that seemed to work for me.   People check 100s pretty closely though so you might be out of luck.

I have a fake 50 which I have had since 2006.

Light a ciggy with it and say ummm .....

Wheres your mama shop ?

TOO BAD :(

This is one instance that I wouldn't recommend "paying it forward".

Burn it. At least you've stopped the circulation of 1 fake bill.

Burn it ? then i will loss RMB100....it's not a good idea.

Try to use at night street  BBQ. Best of luck
