Permalink Reply by GrandPa on July 6, 2012 at 1:25pm In the US I am not unique in any way. I am just a typical older guy. Nothing unique at all. Oh, wait, that I have lived in a foreign country would make me unique, so yes, I guess I am. Wow I am unique! You made my day...Thanks :-)
Permalink Reply by Isabelle on July 6, 2012 at 1:56pm Because you are my first unique guest to my unique discussion and because I am a unique ghost in this unique kingdom of unique humanoids, I'm sending your way my unique hugs and kisses. Belated Happy Birthday and belated Happy 4th! See, I'm unique! :D

Permalink Reply by Isabelle on July 6, 2012 at 1:58pm Of course you are the one and only ...! How would you like me to remember you, Karin? :)
After a serious thought, I am once again sure that I am not unique. Yes, I am a simple creature on this planet not star up there. Anyway, I am fine with this. :-)

Recent months, each time I told my friends something I had done I thought it special, they would immediately tell me something more unique which made mine not even worth mentioning. I really cannot think of anything special now.
What worse is that in some situations I think I am in an equal position with other, however, I was told that someone is a bulldozer, I am a fence which is easy to be rolled over; or someone is a star up there, and I am the one down here to look up it.
You see, how unique I am! :P
