Where is the best place to go inside China for a vacation/holiday?

I like Xin Jiang, from the north to the south, every part of it.

Ditto. Planning is easy. It's the "doing" that's difficult. The only difference is I'm beginning to think more seriously about it.

I don't get to China until October.  XinJiang is knee deep to a tall giraffe in snow by them.  Now what??
