Go to Shekou Seaworld, on the corner near McCawley's there is a convenience store with DVD sellers outside, there are usually a couple of beggars congregating there as well.
I am not sure if they have Golden Virginia, but they definitely have Drum and a couple of others. They also sell rizla etc. This is also the best place if you ever need to change money, they give the best rates.
