I caught a cold recently and went back office after getting a day off. When I came up with a mask at office, some coworkers can understand and think I am doing a right thing, while others thought it was unnecessary and my mask would scare people.
It is said that people who catch a cold in Japan usually wear masks in case they would get someone else sick. Personally I saw some people in HK do the same. However, most people in mainland do not.
To what extent, you can accept a person wearing a mask at public? Will you stare at them and try to be away from them as far as possible?
