hey miles, I feel you have missed a lot of good music if you are only listening to classic rock. I do agree that it was a time of innovation in music but some of todays stars are still creating some wonderful tunes. The arctic Monkeys for example, or The trews from Canada, are also filling the rock void these days. Get back to me if you would like to open your mind to todays rock.

I find it really hard to hear music that isnt pop, hip hop or house in SZ, are there no indie/rock/alternative clubs??

The best rock.... Vintage from 1963 to 1982. There are some decent bands (U2, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Radioheads, Beck, etc.) afterwards, but not too many.
