مرحبًا من الرحابة والسعة ، وتستخدم للترحيب بالزوار والتأكيد عليهم بأن الدار رحيبة واسعة وأنهم يسعدون بزيارتهم.


من المحيط :
المَرْحب : السَّعة( قَالوا بلْ أنْتمْ لا مَرْحبًا بِكُمْ) أي لا رَحُبَتْ بهم ولا اتسعتْ مرْحباَ بك، أي انزل في الرَّحب والسَّعة.

من الغني :
مَرْحَبٌ - [ر ح ب]. 1."مَكَانٌ مَرْحَبٌ" : وَاسِعٌ. 2."مَرْحَباً بِكَ يَا سَيِّدِي" : عِبَارَةٌ تُقَالُ لِلضَّيْفِ، أَيْ صَادَفْتَ سَعَةً وَرَحْباً. "أَهْلاً وَسَهْلاً وَمَرْحَباً".
So I think we all correct, have both of meaning,welcome and hi ! Thanks my brother

For Sure Marhaban is not used anymore, and Marhaba is the one working now as Hello.

let me correct ur sentence, and give u an advice.

marhaban can work as welcome, but its more Hello than welcome. better use Ahlan, more understandable for people with different accent.

ilan is not a word, i believe u mean to say Ela, or ila. which point to = TO. Mahanli is wrong also, it suppose to be Mahali = my shop.

for better understanding of ur sentence make it as below :

Ahlan Ela Mahali = welcome to my Shop.
