Hello all, I am a Boxer of some 30 years. I offer a class in Boxing, for the purpose of helping people get fit, and in shape. Classes are very old school, relying on age old training methods that will get you in shape, as well as lean and mean.
This class will also teach proper boxing technique, as well as valid, practical self defense for situations that happen on the street. Trust me when I say that practical self defense training is far different then Boxing or MMA training, as it's the only thing that will work well in a street fighting situation where your life is on the line, something I assume is always the case when such a situation comes up. Such teaching is very specialized.
The class is small, and open to anyone who wants to join.
Training as a boxer to get fit will likely make you fitter then you've ever been before, as it is a mix of all forms of exercise. A boxers routine is far from rigid, and embraces many ways of getting and staying fit, to make them as well rounded as possible.
I am a certified boxing coach, and I can help you get fit, and in shape in very little time. You’ll burn 2,000 calories in 1 work out, and I teach my students how to depend on themselves, so that eventually they don’t need me anymore. That means I not only teach the proper technique when it comes to "how" to do things, but I also give you the mental tools required to continue to train and motivate yourself, without the need for a coach or trainer.
This group is for those who are serious about really getting into shape, and want to take a “class” with more focus, where they will actually learn something they can use.
