Anyone going to Hong Kong the first Sunday in April. Join a BBQ in Fanling, just two stops away from Lok Ma Chou (Futian Checkpoint) or Lo Wo (Luohu Checkpoint).

Right on the border, around Sheung Shui / Fanling on the Hong Kong side, there's an English language social club that holds regular events. We post our events on both Facebook and HongKongStuff.

I practically had a boyfriend the whole time I've lived in China. We broke up a while back and I just realized that I could try dating in Shenzhen, or HK.. So far I haven't had problems meeting guys, it's meeting good guys that's the problem.

Maybe that's why guys seem better at speaking Chinese *haha*. Do you find it more competitive to find a guy when you're in China?

I have an allergy to peanuts as well...I know how to say MSG in Mandarin. I can ask a student about how to say no MSG in Cantonese. I can eat most Chinese food cooked in Peanut oil and sometimes a veggie dish that has peanuts in it but I haver to remove the peanuts. Too many of these dishes though and I get a rash and my tongue swells.. I came to China almost 4 years ago. But I have a habit of living here for a year and then traveling for 4 months and then coming back to China and starting the cycle all over again... If I was a guy, I would learn Chinese so I could date the Beautiful Chinese Girls...;-) To be honest, I'm too lazy!
