Comment by Kader on May 26, 2013 at 11:20am hi guys! i have a couple position available for english teachers and translators.
would anyone be willing to go to huangbu to teach english twice a week!
i have a school there. we need a teacher for at least 2 days a week, if you are coming from huizhou, we could pay you each time you go! pay is depending on experience etc.and obviously accomadation is provided. at the moment ive scheduled it for saturday and sunday, but i could change it to fit your schedule.
other than that position, we are also looking for a fulltime position. for the fulltime foriegn teacher position you dont need to be from a western country, as long as your chinese is decent, as we also have a department doing translation for local factories, in this case you could earn more money.

Comment by Chris Lott on May 12, 2013 at 10:43am Anyone recommend any huizhou city expat hangouts, pubs or restaurants? I'm on foot, midway between the Jasper and RenRenLe.
Comment by Chris Lott on April 30, 2013 at 8:26pm I'm looking for recommendations for a Huizhou-based interpreter for about 2 week assignment, beginning middle of next week. English <-> Chinese.

Comment by American Retro 费城往事 on April 3, 2013 at 12:34am Miss the 80's? Then throw on your headband and leg warmers, crimp that hair, and head down to American Retro for our first totally rad 80's party! Huizhou's only foreign band 'Hindsight & the 20/20s' goes on at 11:00. Specials on Bacardi Breezers and Liquid Cocaine cocktails, and if you order a burger before 9, you get a free pint of Kingway or a glass of house wine. Oh, and "You can dance if you want to..."
