living in Huizhou
how is it for a single expat to live/work in Huizhou? What to do on the weekends?

Living in Huizhou is inexpensive, quite and peaceful. Rent is about 1000-2000/month for a 3-bedroom apartment in most places or a 1-bedroom apartment near the Walmart shopping mall. There are not that many social events compare to Shenzhen. However, our group tries to organize gatherings every now and then, in restaurants, bars, clubs and coffee shops. Occassionally, we take turns to throw some house parties. Recently, since the first Starbucks opened in Huizhou, we gathered at Starbucks quite often.
