Kirtan is a music experience that quiets the mind. It originated in India, and it’s one of the oldest sacred music traditions in the world. The mantras used in kirtan can open you to the experience of peace. You don’t have to sing, you can just listen.
We loved the feeling of open heartedness & joy created by singing the Sanskrit. While we sang and harmonized to music that called the Divine Names, everyone can feel at One with each other and the world.
In our culture, most of the entertainment is passive. The individual doesn’t have an impact on it. However, One of the intoxicating things about kirtan is that it’s participatory. Your very presence shifts what happens!

The hang will come to China again soon... for next kirtan concert:) By then, the jiv jago band will perform for more people in SZ!
