If you have traveled to Causeway Bay in HK before, you may heard the "Tin Hau Station". No, I am not talking about the Tin Hau Station but a "godness".

Tin Hau is the Goddess of the Sea, patron saint of fishermen in Hong Kong and the city’s most popular deity. She has over 70 temples dedicated to her which reflects the city’s fishing past and close association with the sea. Fishermen in their brightly decorated boats pay tribute to this deity with a host of festivals around Hong Kong’s coastal communities with major celebrations taking place at Joss House Bay (Sai Kung) and Tai Shu Ha (Yuen Long).

How to Get There

Joss House Bay, Sai Kung
MTR to Po Lam Station Exit E, take minibus 16 to Clear Water Bay Country Club, then walk for several minutes following signs. There is Ferry service to Joss House Bay available from North Point Ferry Pier.

Tai Shu Ha, Yuen Long
