Hello everyone,
I badly need to do some exercise, so I am bascially looking for a place where I can do Yoga but which is not super expensive.
If there is any other sports activity someone wants to offer, I am glad to hear. I haven't had much exercise since I am in China and I need to catch up slowly!

Permalink Reply by B. Weiran on June 18, 2011 at 11:55am Sound not bad at all, thank you! Do they speak some English or are the classes in Chinese? I am not sure if I can follow the instructions just by watching what the teacher is doing...?

Just stumbled onto your post here as I just moved to the area. Can I just clarify that what you mentioned is like a shala that you can just pay and go there to practice? I am doing ashtanga yoga and have been looking for a shala if there is one or a place that teachers ashtanga yoga but in mysore style. Cheers for any info on this!

Hi Berenice- my name is Ronald. I teach Wing Chun kungfu at Shekou near the Rose Garden estates on Sundays 11:00-12:30. We train at the Qing Qing Bodybuilding Gym on Gon Yuen Nan Lu(above the A Best Supermarket), very near the front entrance of the Rose Garden Estate. While it is not yoga it is a martial art without fancy flying kicks. While it is 350 years old Wing Chun was made popular by the late Bruce Lee as a practical fighting system. It invigorates the whole body without the hard effort of some of the other chinese martial arts. You can speak to me on: 132 4060 9948. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
