What does it pay?

Hi Rob, glad to clarify. The marshal team is made up of volunteers, so there is no pay. With that said, the benefits for the marshal team are fantastic!

  • Complimentary golf - Three day volunteers will earn one round of complimentary golf at Genzon GC. Four day volunteers will earn two rounds!
  • Lucky draw prizes - Every day we have a lucky draw and two of the marshal team members get a prize. Typically the prizes are player signed items such as pin flags, hats, posters, etc... At the 2015 BMW Masters, which I also am the Chief Marshal, our volunteer of the week won a Justin Rose signed M1 Driver.
  • Full official volunteer uniform - Hat, two polo shirts, and a jacket.
  • Daily, catered meals
  • Signed photograph of you with the Tournament Champion

I have been doing this, in China, as a Chief Marshal for the BMW Masters since 2012, and the Volvo China Open since last year. All of my marshal team volunteers rave about the experience and if still in China come back the following year. Hope you decide to get involved. Thanks!
