Welcome to the Shenzhen Ice Hockey Club. The Shenzhen Ice Hockey club is a group of hockey fanatics that have found refuge from the normal daily life in China on the ice. We are the first hockey organization in Southern Mainland China to have league hockey.

Our hockey program started in 2007 with a few guys getting together for pick-up games. Over the years it has grown and grown. We now have near 50 players that come out on the regular for pick-up games every week. We are currently in the process of defining our league so that we have a self sufficient hockey program within our own walls.

Today our hockey program is comprised of players from around the world. We have all skill levels of players in our program. We have ex-Olympians, college players, and many junior division players. We are open to players of all skill levels coming out and playing. We will make sure that whoever you are and no matter how well you can or cannot skate that you get the opportunity to play.

Guys,

For those of you that do not know....the most important days of th year are upon us.

That is right Stanley Cup time!

Game 4 is tomorrow morning (Thursday June 9) at 8AM. Dave from La Casa is trying to organize some bodies to justify opening Xpats early for the game.

Please contact Dave here http://www.shenzhenstuff.com/profile/shademaker and let him know if you can make it.

Additionally, Game 5 is Saturday (June 11) at 8AM. Dave is trying to organize bodies for that as well.

If you work on Thursday that is acceptable....but Saturday you better be pretty damn hungover if you miss that one.

Both games should be good.....come with your Jersey on and be ready to drink and yell!

Hey guys,

We are trying to get a ball hockey game together for the weekend.

We have located a court with goals. I have a bunch of cheap (in price) sticks that I have picked up from a factory here in China. We are going to get tutor shooters made for the goals (no goalie gear yet....but it is ordered).

We want to make this a normal thing....I am trying to sell the sticks off at cost....so let me know if you are interested. Drop me a PM or write on my wall...

I hope that you all can make it out.

Cheers
Richard

Hockey club members,

There are 6 games at Coastal City Shopping Center this weekend between Hong Kong, Shenzhen (2 teams), and Macao.

Tonights games (saturday night) are at 9:10, 10:20, and 11:30 tonight.
Tomorrow mornings games are at 9:10, 10:20, and 11:30 tomorrow morning.

Come out and support your local hockey program!

I look forward to seeing you all there!
