i love going yum cha, and do it very often. just thinking why not
share it with friends and make it a fews hours on sunday meeting new friends, talking, gossipping funny things during the week and laughing....

a little bit about yum cha:

its a local cultural tradition to go yum cha, older generation love to go as early as 7 or 8 am... we young people enjoy going around 10am to have a brunch and a friends get together...

lots of food are served, esp. all kinds of dim sums, Ha Gow (Shrimp Dumplings), wonton, congee(Energy Tonic Soup)... you name it....

do these words ring a bell?? heard of them in the movies as token of chinese food??

for Yum Cha lovers, we could get together on sunday morning to discover local Yum Cha places, from the most luxurily- furnished one near central walk to the most humbly looking but Lao Zi Hao (老字号, lit. "Old Trademarkplaces ).

周边片区：大中华南侧财富大厦对面 ) metro: hui zhan zhongxin . i dont know how many of us yet, just call some friends and have a small get-together. we usually split the bill by the number of people joining. its around 70-80 rmb per person there.

There's also another one opposite to the old U bar on Jia bin road, it was re-decoreated a while ago so am not very sure if it's still owned by the same owner, but the one was good before~
