Well,i am Chinese but i was learning Japanese for 4 years in university and i have been teaching Japanese for a couple of years. I had my own Japanese class and now i'm teaching at a high school in SZ, part time though)

Sorry, seems uploading pics doesn't work. 

Right-bottom corner, where you have language switch, third icon from left is the "Input mode". Switch it to the desired method (I use hiragana) and it's done.
