Hi,

My husband and I are moving to Huizhou for 2 years.  We will be moving around mid May.  I am scared and excited at the same time.  I have tons of questions, our relo people have not been very helpful.  Our apartment is within walking distance of the new mall.  First and foremost...I need help finding appliances - washer/dryer, fridge, etc.  Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.  I am also looking for someone to pet sit, run errands, etc.  Does anyone know where to look for services like this?  Help!  I feel lost!

Hello Ladies,

My husband & I left HUIZHOU on the 24th of December 2010 to relocate in HK.

I am happy to be back again in HK (lived here for 3 years before moving to Huizhou). Surely, I will miss all my friends i left behind, but i am looking forward to seeing you in HK for shopping & dining escapade.

I seldom open this site, so please email me if you would like to meet up in HK.

Bye for now & Enjoy Huizhou:-)

The kindergarten techer in me can't let Halloween go by without celebrating...so I am having a casual get together with snacks to celebrate halloween. No costumes are required but they make the party so much more fun! Kids are welcome and so are husbands! The party will be at my apartment on Sunday October 30 from 2:00 - 5:00 (no meals just halloween themed snacks). Let me know by friday if you are able to come!

Naomi I ran across a place called Gymboree (I thought it may be a store but it was a Kindergarten). It was closed but it looked like more then a typical Kindi...there was a little play area and it looked really nice. You may want to check it out, it was between Milo Coffee and Sundan across from the Womens Wear Mall. The website is www.gymboree.com.cn (it's in Chinese but maybe someone could read it for you).
