Gidday stuffers, I now have two petanque sets, and looking for a place to play.
Maybe we can bring a portable BBQ and beers along, if you are keen, add yourself to the group , and hopefully some input , as to where we can play, as well as a regular rendezvous point.

Comment by Daniel Tim San Nam F. on July 12, 2012 at 11:32am Here are pictures of my Petanque court that I made already since 3 months with compressed clay on the bottom and a thin layer of sand on the surface. The dimension is 11.5 M x 3.5 wide. We play with friends every other day, whoever wants to join, be welcomed, a bottle of Pastis Ricard is always ready.
Comment by EK on June 14, 2012 at 8:36pm Who else has boules (apart) from us guys?
Seriously, we should do this soon, just need to get a few more players to bring some Boules.
Comment by louise on June 10, 2012 at 8:37pm We've been discussing it for a while, looking forward to the real activity. I wish I can help with something, :-)
Comment by MyShufu on April 2, 2012 at 9:22am how much space u need? there is a BBQ place in shekou, not so far from the Minghua ship. Behind it actually. Lots of bbq pits and tables. to the right of the entrance there was an area not really being used. A little bit of open space. you could possibly use it while others are BBQing. I'm planning on going there this Sat with my Ultimate Frisbee players. Can let you know, just give me some of the requirements;)
Comment by EK on April 2, 2012 at 9:18am Hey Daniel, you can buy the boules from decathlon, I know the one in Nanshan (next to Ikea) have them, they are inexpensive too!
Sania , now that the weather is fine, I think I wouldn't mind making this weekly or fortnightly excursion , perhaps out to da mei sha, that being said it's a long way to go for some of our members who don't have transport, if anyone has a better venue, speak now or forever hold your piece.
In venue, I mean a place where the guard monkeys aren't going to kick us out, time and time again.
Thanks :-)
Comment by Daniel Tim San Nam F. on March 8, 2012 at 10:56am Where can I find Petanque balls? I remember OBUT has those sold in 2 pairs set with the "cochonet", the small wood target...

Cricket, easy to teach, we can do a modified version, it is also fun to play.
I haven't any idea of when this group will get together, but hopefully soon!
