Before this week’s games Marek and Razvan of Inter were tied on 12 goals each with Moussa of The Wild Geese just behind on 11. Inter picked apart The Dog and Duck to win 7-0 with Marek scoring 2, while Razvan was out of action as a result of his red card the previous week. This means Marek is now top scorer. Moussa scored late on as his side lost in a 5-2 loss to World United. Marco picking up a red for World there.

The most exciting match of the week was between SWIS and The Tigers. SWIS, having put in some good displays of late, came out hard against The Tigers and spectators were amazed as SWIS went into half time 2-1 up against third place Tigers. SWIS kept scoring after half time and it was 4-1 to the teachers before Tim of the Tigers stepped up and scored a spectacular dipping shot from the half way line after 55 minutes. This gave Tigers a lift but they were still losing 5-4 with 5 minutes to go. The cheers could be heard all around as ecstatic Tigers players celebrated their 5th 6th and 7th goals in the closing minutes to win 7-5. What a game.

The last tie of the week saw Lunatics overcome Colombian Dream 4-1, with Lunatics’ first goal coming via an own goal from The Colombians coach, Oscar. Lunatics keep pressure on Inter.
