Share 'Hunan TV Missing child show - is this an acceptable use of popular media ?'

This is on now.   The first gut reaction is this is voyeurism. Tragic scenes of family members seaching for a missing child complete with sad melodramatic music.   It does not help that the TV studio part is so slickly produced.   However, it may well be that this show may find the child as they have massive viewing figures and loads of people on some kind of elevated wall in the studio taking ph…
