I'm a Chinese who grew up in Brasil that speaks better English than Portuguese and can't read or write in Chinese. Grew up with Chinese who couldn't speak Chinese, Brazilians who couldn't speak English, and Americans who'd stutter miserably whenever they attempt to speak Portuguese. Sometimes out of the blue I leak out a word in different languague because I'm more used to saying that word in that particular language. To make things more complicated, I stayed in Osaka, Japan for 2 years and a year of Spanish in college completes the chaos!
