I’ve heard the Urban Administrators known as Chengguan have reputations as power drunk bullies. I‘ve also heard these black shirts often abuse their powers and position. There was a story in Friday’s paper about a woman suing them because they choked her in front of her child when she didn’t respond to their orders quickly enough. There were two additional stories of alleged Chengguan abuse.

I usually get up very early, 04:00-05:00. Sea puts coffee and water in the coffee maker every night so all I have to do is turn it on and a couple of cups are ready by the time I stumble to the w.c. to piss and brush my teeth.
