I do understand the negativity in the comments to the - now deleted - blog post about a kindergarten. What you need to understand is that this little school is being put up by foreign teachers, with the help of parents of their private students, who want to give teachers a chance to teach English, not 'teach to the test' which is so common in China.
But still... This is my blog and I am chatting about what is happening…

Would you buy an HDTV?

I have seen some very pretty pictures on the HDTV in the stores.
What about it? Can you get pictures as pretty in the stores on you home TV? Or are the stores using special movies that you can not get yourself? I don't mean the girls swimming or posing. I mean real movies.
What experiences do you have with HDTV?

Apple will support Microsoft Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate) with Boot Camp in Mac OS X Snow Leopard before the end of the year. This support will require a software update to Boot Camp.

There are two paths...
Path one: Use Boot Camp from Apple. You have to choose either OSX or XP ( not sure if it will run Win 7) at startup. Boot Camp is free. It is probably on your System Disk. You have to buy XP install disks on your own.
Path two: Get Virtual Box, free and supported by SUN Microsystems. It lets you run both OS at same time, but slows down the computer. Again, you have to buy XP or Win 7 install disks on your own.
Boot Camp will run faster. But you have to restart to switch to the other OS.

I have Parallels, but it is not free and it runs XP slowly on my 3 GHz iMac. I am thinking about trying Virtual Box...

- acoustic means that the sound is natural and not electric. There are acoustic guitars with either steel strings or nylon strings. Acoustic guitars are hollow box types of things with a hole under the strings. They have 6 or twelve strings.
Other acoustic instruments include the orchestra with instruments like the violin, trumpet, an piano.
Electric guitars are not acoustic. They make sound out of speakers after an amp has made it louder.
I hope you got a chance to see Riverdance! It was great.
