Good to hear you found a school man. Coffee sounds good, although I'm rarely in Nanshan these days. I work, live, and play in Luohu. I suppose I could make a special appearance though. How about sometime after Monday? I'm really busy this weekend.
well he study there my understanding of the management is that itd lots orthodox intheway adninstration is handled so please dont expect amodern day profession tools and methodology regarding how teacherd are paid cant say but teaching wise they are ok one of the few economical school available for english speaking kids
well my kid studies there the management is a bit orthodox kind of so if you are able to stay clear of the politics of chinese vs british and balance between then then you can do great................ academically i think the teacher has enough fun as students have in the class.
hey man, it's been a while. We'll have to grab some coffee sometime.
I left Funful, because I didn't like the management and I saw a better opportunity outside of teaching English. The kids are amazing though, and I miss them all the time. I was the last person to get a visa successfully from that school, and mine took 6 months. There were many teachers after me who hated it and quit soon after they started. One of my best friends started working there and after 9-10 months of work, he still didn't get his visa and quit. It is possible to get a visa in HK, but the school refuses to try if you don't have your HK ID card. I, fortunately, have an HK ID, so the process was a little easier for me. I'm sure the school will make you go back to America for your visa and they won't cover any of the costs. Furthermore, you'll lose the pay you would have got if you go during a school week.
Yep! I'm a married man. I got married in March, and we're extremely happy. I met her at the ice skating rink around the time I came to Shenzhen.
