"Personally, I like Teresa Teng's best! ---A rare talented singer. I learnt to sing her songs in my teen's, and my voice became somehow like hers! She sang in many languages. Maybe you will like hers, unsure though! "

"In my opinion, 汪峰 is the best rock music singer in China.  He has many good songs.  He once was the vice first violinist of The National Ballet of China. I recommend his 《勇敢的心》and 《美丽世界的孤儿》to you.  See if you like them."

"One of my favorite albums is 王菲's 《寓言》. The melodies and lyrics of most of the songs in it were written by the singer 王菲 and the lyrics writer 林夕.  Both are the best in China. 林夕's name is interesting.  林+夕=梦. However, this album…"

"I like the song by SHE called bu xiang zhang da. The music is okay at least. I like some of Jay Chou's songs but many of them are also sappy in my opinion. "

Hey buddy, you didn't miss it, the Uke Club is still possibly a go, however, you are the only person who responded. This is not the first time I tried. Seems most expats are too busy drinking and partying to consider starting a club. I need to figure out how to find some Chinese musicians instead... Maybe have better luck with them. Foreigners too annoying unless sex or alcohol involved. That said, however, you are more than welcome to come rock the uke whenever you would like!
