A long way to go
As I was walking down a mountain I saw a dog
With tail wagging it ran over on just 3 paws
One of its legs was broke, yet its eyes had hope
"Where will you go?" I asked the dog
But his face gave me no response
"It's a steep climb up this path...
It's getting darker, with fog like a mask...
Are you not cold?…

A lucky penny
He wished upon a penny... that when he found he felt lucky
He wished not for cars or jewels, he wished not for money
He wished for happiness, to always have a smile
To be respected, not neglected as someones bastard child
He was the poorest kid and felt alone living in his orphanage
Surviving off of tasteless food and poorage sips
He never felt the feeling of being adored and kissed
And the closer he got to it the more his heart was…
