Hi Liam,

My name's Mark Taylor, I run Thames School of Languages. We're the biggest and longest running language school in Huizhou. We also offer Mandarin Chinese lessons to westerners from schools and companies all around the city. We have 15 western teachers working in the school all of whom study in our classes. We also have an additional 15 westerners from other places studying with us. This includes nine new students in a beginner class starting this Thursday. From experience I believe that learning in a class environement is more effective than on a one to one basis, but we do offer this option.

The main reason so many people choose to study with us is due to our western teaching methods and of course the attraction of learning with other westerners in the city. I can provide email addresses of some of our current students should you wish to find out more from them. The beginner course is specifically designed for people new to the language and new to Huizhou, providing all the basics you need to get by in the city.

If you'd like to give a class a go, either on a one to one, or group study basis then please get in touch.

All the best,

Mark Taylor
