Weight?! no weight...囧

My younger bro told me that he want to lose some weight. He is 183CM, and almost 100kg. But after struggled 3 months, now he is 103kg…囧 And I told him, ok, I am trying to gain my weight a little bit, but seems the weight was on your body, not mine! = =|| coz I’ve lost 1kg since last week again and my jeans are getting fat…= =|||

I used to very fat, more than 60kg, but I am only 158CM. and then one day my mum told her firends said, look at my daughter ! She's toooo fat!!! 囧…

Hi Sue,

I don't get to Da Mei Sha too often - but there's plenty of good seafood in SZ town - also some lousy seafood too.  The problem about going to Shaanxi with Kelly is that she only gets time off during the big holidays, so everything is crowded like you say.

I'll be returning to SZ on Saturday evening, so let me know if you're coming this way again.

Hi Sue,

Welcome back - still in Foshan? - planning any SZ trips?  I'll be back in town on the evening of the 22nd and staying for 6-7 weeks.  How was Xi'an?  I've still not got there, but I keep promising Kelly who is a Shaanxi girl, that I'll visit sometime.

 Hi Sue,

I’m feeling pretty good myself right now.  We’ve had beautiful weather for the last two days, and today is Saturday.  I have to work because everybody else in our office is doing so, but no one is working too hard, so I’ve got time to answer you.  Also Saturday is part of the Friday-Saturday weekend in Abu Dhabi, so my client there is being quiet.  I am planning to take tomorrow off completely and just ignore Abu Dhabi for the day, and maybe go down to HK on Monday, but people say that it will be very crowded crossing the border.  I think that I’ll have to work on Tuesday in any case, or people will start to complain.

I’m not sure how it is now with the gifts, but when they first started you were given 100 points that you could use to give people.  I used mine up a long time ago, and I got a few gifts back – mostly drinks, but Jane gave me a rose and Shannon gave me a Hula Girl.  It is very nice to get any sort of gift.

I don’t really sleep well on planes unless I get a flat bed – my company won’t pay for that, but I sometimes upgrade myself using air miles.  If I have enough to drink then I’ll doze a bit in a seat. That’s what I did this time – it gets me to SZ in the evening and then I have to work the next day.

My worst flight was in 1973 or 1974 from London to Hong Kong.  In those days the planes couldn’t fly direct because it was too far, so they stopped about four times on the way at different places.  It was often fun to get out and wander round a strange airport for an hour or two. The last stop before HK was always Bangkok, and to get to HK from there you have to fly over Vietnam.  As that war was still on, the plane had to fly through the demilitiarised zone [DMZ] which was only about 20km wide, and on that trip there was a typhoon right there.

The pilot announced we would all have to keep our seat belts on, that there would be no drinks or meals, the crew wouldn’t be able to move, etc, and that anyone who was nervous could get off the plane and wait for a day or two till the typhoon had gone.  It was really scary.  If we hadn’t been belted in then we would have hit the ceiling every time the plane dived, and things like books were flying around in the cabin.

I only see the comments on your blog if I look back at it again, but I usually look back to places I’ve commented before a couple of days later, so I’ve seen your reply to my knitting comment.  I hope that it’s not too late to learn a language, because I really want to see more of China.

I’ve run out of time – must work again - Mike
