- About Me:
- I am an actor / singer / writer / director / producer living in Shenzhen. Like most foreigners who have settled here (I settled in June 2004) I pay the bills by teaching English. I have my own school in the Li Jing buidling just around the corner from the Diwang building and Book City. In 2006, I worked for Jade animation here in SZ. I did clean up art there for almost a year until I went into full time teaching mode (because I have a wife and beautiful daughter to feed). I am listed at the Internet Movie Data Base (imdb) for writing the original script for the film “Deadly Species” and doing clean-up art for Disney’s “Super Robot Monkey” television show. I have written a novel titled “Tales Of The Vampire: The Vampire Irregulars” as well as a children’s book “Jimmy and His Teacher Save The World”. I am currently shopping my film “Ghost House” as well as several projects that I have written for film and TV in the West. I like acting and singing. I have done quite a bit of voiceover work here in SZ for short animated films and I am even an English voice at a Chinese theme park now. I have sung on cruise ships in Legend of Rock shows and I have sung here in Shenzhen at Spring Festival banquets and at the Polo Restaurant (back in its hey-day). Recently, people have challenged my claims that I have done everything that I have written here. To "retort" I have posted many pics here to backup my claims which anyone can view.
November 2010 - My daughter is all over the RuluKids website as well as on the walls of department stores around China (friends have called us saying they saw our daughter's picture in Beijing, Shanghai and Guanzhou). We have seen large ads of her for Rulu Kids clothes in Shirbles here in Shenzhen and at the Shenzhen airport. Also, my Super Education is moving into a larger space here in Luo Hu and we just opened a satellite SE in Bai Hua. I am currently putting the finishing touches on my latest novel a dark comedy read called "The Bachelor's Guide To Post Apocalyptic Success". That and a new bunch of videos so people can see my performances over the years.

Is There Other Life Out In Space?

Since bringing up the ghost question, I have to ask you --- Do you believe there is life out in space? Do you think it is conceivable, that we are not alone in this universe and that there are others out there somewhere? If so, why haven't they come and said hello to us?

Someone here brought up an interesting discussion and I wanted to localize it a bit more. Many people in this world believe in ghosts, the spirits of dead people that hang around for some unknown reason. For the sake of discussion, do YOU believe in ghosts and/or do you have a ghost story that you would like to tell?

In China, one set of books has outlasted all of the others on the shelf (it seems) - The New Concept English books. Most Chinese who are studying English are very familiar with these books. Lesson 1 -- "Excuse me, is this your handbag? Pardon? Is this your handbag? Yes, it is."

I have been teaching English in SZ now for over three years and I am curious to know the honest answer to the age old question. Which do feel is a better English to learn and why? Some of my students tell me that they prefer to learn American English (some because they think that's what I want to hear) because it is easier, more casual, etc. Some tell me that they want to learn the British English because they feel it is more proper, better for business in HK and Europe,…
