Admire your persistence in learning:)  I brought my kids to Germany and stayed there 3 weeks in 2009 summer. But they didn't catch a word~   though they enjoyed that trip very well and still remeber many of the details:)

Hi, thanks for adding, reminding me that I haven't been here for ages! How is your German learning? I also picked up this language a little bit years ago. Recently I am trying to start with Norwegian, after a marvellous private trip there last month. What about your Swedish?

Thanks for your comment, but I have to upset you, I'm too busy with my job and don't have the time to teach german. I have to admit, after living abroad for so many years my german got sort of rusty, but I think here are many germans on that site, which have the time to teach your kids german.

Good luck and Happy New Year!
