Last saturday i lost my mobile in coco park in one club, it was samsung galaxy s2. i had anti thief software in my mobile, as if someone else insert their SIM card in my phone it will send sms to 5 friends, on monday my 5 friends got sms that this **** number is using my mobile now so i filed complain in nearest police station, also gave them the number who is using my phone now. still everyday i am calling police station and they are saying we are working on your case, we will call you, sometimes they said the officer who is working on that case is not available. do you think its worth to wait for them? few of my friends said police will not work on such maters like this.

Not worth your time if you're a busy person. Get a new phone and move on. AND don't go to THAT club in Coco Park. LOL

@Jesus. You're right. No one would want to steal a Blackberry.

Why not call the number directly and tell the phone was stolen? And he probably paid very little to buy a stolen second hand phone, so pay the money and get the phone back first.

The local cops don't have the power to authorize a triangulation on your phone probably and even if they did that is the best they could offer...    The person who is using it now is probably not even the same one who took it in the first place...    And think about the number of more serious cases they handle every day...  One phone is your life's contacts and a few thousand rmb but not dust in the wind to them...   Sorry to tell you, it's probably time to switch to iPhone
