What do you want?
To daily be better than the day before it
Because we all dream of perfection
So why daily?
It’s a good way to pace life
So at the end, you attain perfection?
Then why do it at all?
It’s more a pursuit of perfection
Why chase something unattainable?
There’s something romantic about the chase
Won’t it just be a huge disappointment?
It just reveals the mortality of humans
Isn’t it depressing?
No, we were made to chase and strive till the end
I wouldn’t go after something that’s not a sure bet
Nothing is really a sure bet
So, you just keep on chasing and then die?
You go on chasing and at the end, you realize two things
One, that the journey itself is transforming
That you shouldn’t really be able to catch up to perfection anyways
That would be crushing to discover
Not as crushing as attaining perfection now
That would mean the end of the dream
What’s wrong with that?
There’s nothing left to dream
But you’ll be perfect
Would you, with no dreams?
So life is a dream?
What is it then?
It’s a pursuit.
