Rugby game ; The spirit of a Derby

A Derby is played face to face on the field and side by side on the stadium. It’s the specificity of these so particular matches, which set the fans of the two sides ablaze, weeks before the match until the 80 minutes on the field.

It's a game that kind of mix "I love you with I hate you", made of verbal spears and schoolboy jokes, nowadays even through SMS or via social media. A game that feeds the conversations around the family table or zinc in the bar for hours. The day of the match, everyone wears its colors, in apparent good spirits and a knot hidden in the stomach, because a derby has to be won! Matter of honor! At the end of 80 minutes, when the pressure is on the field and the tension on the benches ... it’s the relief for some and the disappointment for others ... until the next derby!

For the third half time, it is in the same bars that all participants will meet. That's the spirit derby!

My hometown lost it this time, but won it before. Honor is safe, everything is for the best in the best of worlds.
