You Have to Stand Out

I have been working in an English training school, which has 6 branch campuses now. The one where I am working is the oldest one with hundred of students.

This Tuesday, we all staff attended a big meeting in the newest campus in Luoling where is in Luohu district.It's been half year since we last met. Obviously, we have more and more members and marching faster and faster!

This meeting is mainly for appraisal of best sector of this half year. And it turnt out Yuanlin was the best one, that is the one that I am working in. Besides,two heardmasters brought in some new working partners on the meeting.It aims to offer more chances for the students study abroad.

In fact, before the meeting, Robert, our teaching consultant had a short conversation with me. Here is a thing: one of my colleages and I have been working on oral English training for all teachers in my school.I told Robert that I felt I was kinda useless when taking the job like that, seemed the other teacher could make good plans and carry out those plans very well...Robert said I did a very good job to give specific comments on each teacher's speech. Well, I believe it was not easy for anyone to do that. After their speaking, I needed to grade them and give my oppinions on their speaking, including pronounciation, grammar,sentence structures on the spot...I had to work out those things very quickly, especially, when you gotta speak it out in a foreign language. But like I said, I just felt like a useless person.I think I also want to play a part in the training but not just like some assistant. In fact, both of us are equal, and what we were doing is for the whole company.Robert requested me to keep on doing it and later on, I would have more chances, so I had to stand out. Wow, HAVE TO STAND OUT is something I really want to hear!Haha.

I am always getting excited to speak English. Robert also found it out! I did realize that I have some gift for languages.Hopefully, I can be working harder and take the lead to stand out. One headmaster also had some similar conversation with me days ago, he hoped I could take the lead to guide all the teachers. I am not trying to work on anyone else's hope as I did when I was younger, but now, I do know I have the strong power to rock! That is how I have been working.

Oh well, working to stand myself out! Just working out the most advantage of yourself!
