I've sent you an email from the Mike Clark Problem Advice Agency.
I don't think that one cleaner will be enough, and I would need to train them properly. The first one just chucked buckets of water over everything.

If you think that your flat is dirty, then you should see mine, or rather you shouldn't. I will have been away for over four weeks, and it wasn't clean before I left. I'd been planning to do it the weekend I left, but I was ill, so it hasn't been done for six weeks now.
I hope that I have the strength to do it on my first weekend back, but I doubt it. I've talked about a flat-cleaning party, but no one seems interested. Maybe I need to find a cleaning person, but the one I had four years ago was useless so I fired her.

If you can hold the fun till the following weekend then I'll be back in SZ, but I'm much more of a talker than a party-animal - I always have been. I'll arrive in SZ on Thursday 11th and get Jane's help [I hope] to explain to the restaurant that I mostly use that I will no longer be drinking beer with every meal. This will shock them.
On the following day I hope to have dinner with Dan, but for the weekend I should be free. I suggested something in my previous comment, but it will depend on Dan's availability. Otherwise maybe I can take you to dinner on the Saturday if you're not busy - we'll see how it goes. It certainly won't be 4:30am. After that I'll be in SZ for three more weeks, before returning to the UK, then back to SZ in September, etc.
If you come to the UK then I'll cook for you [I'm good at western food and do all of the shopping and cooking while I'm here], and I also cook Chinese food here. Mine is much better than the rubbish you get in UK Chinese restaurants, but in China you guys can cook for me. I can't cook English food in my flat because I don't have an oven and I can't get good ingredients.
I'm making some rock CDs for Dan - you can borrow, listen and see if you like that sort of stuff. I've got about 1000 CDs here with 80% pop/rock, 15% classical and 5% jazz.
More tomorrow - I have to start on dinner soon - Mike

I misled you - I meant the envelope at the top left [don't know why I said right] of the page - if you've not picked up messages from it then it should be saying "new!". If you click on that then you'll find one or two messages from me regarding a question you implied in one of your comments.
I have zero plans for this coming weekend, but don't let that stop you going out and enjoying yourself - don't steal the money though. As I am about 10,000km away from you it is not too practical to see you. However, the following weekend it would be good for some of us to meet up and do something. The real nuisance is Dan's tutoring which makes a mess of Saturday evening. Otherwise I would suggest going shopping on Huaqiangbei and looking at the plant market in Centre Park, followed by a dinner and some music.
We could maybe do it on Sunday, but I have to get up early on Monday morning in a fit condition to work, while still jet-lagged and tired. Honestly, these days if I'm not in bed by midnight I usually go home. [Note to Louise, I don't use haha or lol, so you have to work out for yourself which bits are intended to be jokes - did I already say that?]
I am sure that Dan will also respond, and she may be of more used to you. If she doesn't then kick her.

You have been so quiet this morning that I've even got my emails done. One of these mornings I will send Cathy's advice to Sue and Sue's advice to Cathy, and they will both be totally confused.
However, if I send Jane's advice to both they will learn many things that I am sure that they do not know.
