About Me:
I've been in China for nearly four years. Interested in languages, hiking in remote places, cycling, and photography. If you're interested in cycling, for fitness or long distance touring, then I'm your man.
I can communicate in English, Russian and some Mandarin.
If you are refering to the member calling himself Osama, I was actually being nice when I asked it, I really wanted to say so much more, as a War Veteran and someone who worked S&R at the World Trade Center I am offended by someone who would do that. Yes I believe in the Freedom of Speech, but Freedom to me comes at a price, and it hit close to home. but I will wait for his answer before I say anything else.
Thanks for leaving a message. Yeah most Military people are up north. There are only a few down here. Those are some nice photos, you should join my group for Foreign Artists Association. I am trying to put together some shows.

I've also been in China for about four years, and I like making friends, but the rest of your likes I'll pass on. They are not suitable for a man of advancing years and lack of fitness. I like shopping, eating and music.
Where are you based in SZ? I'm in the Huaqiangbei area of Futian.
Some of my work in Oil & Gas related to engineering materials and components so I sometimes work with welders, mechanics etc. from all over South America, Russia, and Asia (Canada has a labor shortage)... so I've learned how to stay things like turn it, flip it, do you have, this is good, etc. in many languages... as well as the odd swear of course. This is of course useless for conversations but I hope to learn more... starting with improving my Chinese to a conversational level.
Thank you James!!!
Thanks for the useful tips.

Dave, You are right; Freedom is not Free. It can be purchased in China. God Bless this Country.
Maybe the dude's name really WAS Osama. I've seen some interesting names since I left America...
The most ironic thing about being in the Air Force was that they taught me not to die for my country, but to make another guy die for HIS country.
I wonder how all of the 3rd world countries that are under to yolk of Pax Americana define the word "Freedom" ?
